"Pour ce deuxième numéro d'Hors-page, nous avons eu le plaisir d'aller à la rencontre d'Adeline Mollard, une graphiste talentueuse à la vien remplie d'expériences riches et variées... Adeline est une graphiste indépendante qui exerce dans le domaine de la culture. Elle a travaillé pour diverses institutions comme le Mudac à Lausanne, le Musée Tinguely à Bâle, le festival Bad Bonn Kilbi à Düdigen, Les Printemps de Sévelin à Lausanne, le concours des Swiss Performing Art Awards, ou encore la House of Switzerland à Milan. Elle a également produit de nombreux livres pour des artistes tels que Claudia Comte, Jean Otth, Taro Izumi ou Douglas Mandry. Son travail a été récompensé deux fois aux Swiss Design Awards (SDA), en 2022 et 2025."

"Pour ce premier numéro, nous avons eu l'occasion d'aller à la rencontre d'Eurostandard. Le collectif se compose de 4 designers indépendants: Ali-Eddine Abdelkhalek, Pierrick Brégeon, Thomas Petit et Clément Rouzaud, basés entre Lausanne et Paris. Ils rléalisent des projets dans le domaine de la culture et ont notamment travaillé pour les Swiss Design Awards, la Maison Swiss Paris, Pro Helvetia, la Cinémathèque suisse, la Kunsthalle Friart Fribourg, le festival Les Urbaines et bien d'autres. Leur travail a été primé par l'Office fédéral de la Culture, au concours Les plus beaux livres suisses en 2017 et 2020 et aux Swiss Design Awards en 2021. Ils ont également reçu un prix d'honneur aux Plus beaux livres du monde en 2021."

"Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost Design, Dominique Perrault Architectures (GLP/DPA), de Michèle Champenois, journaliste et critique d’architecture, met en lumière l’oeuvre de Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, des débuts de sa collaboration avec Dominique Perrault – le traitement des espaces intérieurs de la Bibliothèque nationale de France – jusqu’à l’aménagement du pavillon Dufour, au château de Versailles, ainsi que les meubles et objets qu’elle a dessinés en son nom. Largement illustré de photographies et de dessins, le livre présente en détail une dizaine de réalisations majeures, du grand théâtre d’Albi aux immeubles du Pont-de-Sèvres à Boulogne, de la tour de Vienne à la passerelle Arganzuela à Madrid. L’emploi de maille métallique, selon de nombreux motifs et usages, est emblématique du travail de la designer. Dans un essai intitulé « Design in situ » et dans les textes de présentation,Michèle Champenois décrypte le jeu croisé des interventions et l’harmonie puissante du dialogue créatif, qui assure modernité et pérennité à cette oeuvre architecturale. La création graphique et la mise en page de l’ouvrage sont réalisées par Philippe Apeloig (studio Apeloig, avec Yannick James)."

"Pendant des décennies, les sociétés de production étrangères ont tourné des films en Suisse pour profiter de son paysage unique : le Backdrop – " toile de fond " ou décor en jargon cinématographique.Ce livre propose une liste complète de ces films avec 350 photographies emblématiques de 1900 à nos jours, en impression 4 couleurs, édition quadrilingue ( française, allemande, italienne, et anglaise ), et constituera un magnifique cadeau pour les fêtes. Tout autour du globe, dans des salles obscures, des spectateurs ont été fascinés par les images de ce héros se balançant d'un pic rocheux alpin, de ces braquages astucieux et improbables se déroulant dans les coffres d'une banque suisse, de ces courses-poursuites à ski dans une station jet-set, ou encore de couples d'amoureux s'embrassants devant un château sur les rives d'un lac. Étonnamment, personne n'a jamais fait de recherches concernant ces nombreux films réalisés en Suisse. Le livre Backdrop Switzerland vise à combler ce vide en élaborant une liste complète de ces films, accompagné d'une sélection de visuels iconographiques."

"Weronika Gęsicka undertook the heroic project of searching old encyclopaedias for entries that had been created in order to prove plagiarism in the form of illegal reprinting of their content. She illustrated each of the headwords she found in her own way: by modifying stock photos and creating new images using artificial intelligence. In this way, a unique Encyclopædia of fake events, animals, characters and objects was created."

"In the age of the internet, poster art is fading into history, but its importance as historical document remains valuable and enlightening. An inexpensive and efficient means of mass communication, the poster was used extensively by Communist regimes in order to maintain state control. This collection of 150 of the most outstanding works from a selection of more than 10,000 posters archived by the German Historical Museum features works that are both poignant and valid in light of current global politics. Although propaganda posters were used in a variety of communist countries, those that emanated from East Germany are unique in their subtlety and nuanced messages. Many posters appropriate American or Western European symbols and others used humour to get their point across. Grouped chronologically according to such themes as post-war years, the prospect of peace, denouncement of the West, and praise for Communist allies, these beautifully reproduced works provide a historical and cultural snapshot of East Germany during its entire history."
