The guide opens with twenty-eight testimonials from some of the authors of the works in the Collection. The peculiarity of the interviews is that they were all collected over the phone, inspired by Vico Magistretti’s statement: « I like concept design, that which is so clear that you can even not draw it. Many of my projects I have transmitted over the phone ». Hence the often colloquial, spontaneous and « live » tone of the texts.
